Odd, I know, but I collect these on an occasional basis. UK soaps have given us some fantastically drawn characters, who are sometimes wonderfully self-parodying. Here are a few lines garnered over the years.
Dot Cotton (an elderly Cockney lady from Eastenders):
Betty Turpin (a drily northern barmaid from Coronation Street:
Phyllis Pearce (an elderly merry widow from Coronation Street) in riposte to 'Chalky' Whitely (an equally elderly gentleman who accused her of only wanting him for his body):

In American teen drama One Tree Hill (which is excellent, by the way) Brooke, on discovering that her best friend had slept with Brooke's boyfriend cries: "My bf's f'd my bf!"
Brooke herself is know to be, um, giving in her relationships, and various OTH characters have been heard to advise someone (usually in Brooke's presence) to "go Brooke yourself".
Great programme.

A classic that most viewers of Eastenders will remember:
The scene is set when two sisters (that's how they have been brought up) are walking across the square arguing after a hen party. The younger sister, Zoe, intends to go to Spain to live and work. The older sister, Kat, doesn't want her to. Just as the argument becomes heated...

Corrie produces another classic: During a darts match- "He couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat!"

>"He couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat!"I suppose that it comes as no surprise that Tone actually managed to do that! (But then he did, long ago, work in a boatyard.) Tone

Eddie Yates, the likeable rogue from The Street, had a good turn of phrase. My favourite: "He's a legend in his own lunchtime, Misses O."
