And I wanted to call a daughter Holly, but we don't do females so I missed out. I think that only works if we know your last name, Doctor!

Have a guess - it's not difficult if you think about the large sign on a rock in a certain USA town/city.

Do people you invite over to your place, Dr M., ever recite Teddy Bears' Picnic to you? Actually, I should imagine you're probably tired of it. Sorry

I remember at one time owning The Observer's Book of Music by Freda Dinn, with illustrations by Paul Sharp - now lost, unfortunately. Now found here. Also found was this site.

Some years ago I had the acquaintance of a Justice of the Peace whose surname was Crook.[...] G-E. Reminded me: I know a bookkeeper, name of Cook, whose business name is Cook's Books. If carelessness should lose that apostrophe ... (Despite the "cute" business name, she is very competent and professional just has a rather dry humour.)

Nope - you're going to have to help me out, Pete. I've tried it aloud, with all the combinations I can muster of "day/dah~", "~mienne/~myun" and "~ail/~ay/ayee" - but light fails to dawn.
Or do I need to understand rugby?

Dave, sorry I missed your post, I actually spent a few hours watching TV (I love garden leave). Anyway, it looks like others sorted out the query. Cheers

Back to the original point of the thread: Buzz Aldrin's mother's maiden name was Moon. Buzz Aldrin was, of course, the second man to walk on the moon, following Neil Armstrong.

As I once mentioned on another forum, my life insurance company's "Death Claims" department (eventually renamed to "Life Claims") was managed by Mr. Death (pronounced day-ath) - I mean, really!
