I suppose much depends on quite how the car is moving: “To career is to move rapidly; to careen is to lurch from side to side, often while moving rapidly”.

Nothing much to do with language – though there's some clever ad-ap-ta-ti-on – and verging on risk of political offence to some (really?), I couldn't resist posting this link to an excellent new lyric to a Gilbert & Sullivan parody (originally the Major-General's song from Pirates of Penzance, the theme of which was unqualified people in positions of authority, in the person of the "modern Major-General" who has up-to-date knowledge about everything except the military). I think WS Gilbert would approve. The damn thing's been my earworm for the day (perhaps because I many times sang the original in a PoP production in my youth).

Thanks, Vv. You did great to find the link, and I enjoyed it bigly. Enjoyed it bigly.
I won't hear a word said against the Trumper, because apparently we like him here. Like him here. You could have fooled me! Buggered if I know anyone over here who can stand the sight of him.
Off for a covfefe nightcap before bed.
(He knows words, by the way.)

I don’t know where I first came across this pair of stanzas but they nicely illustrate the importance of using commas carefully.
Tweedledum and Tweedledee Agreed to have a battle! For Tweedledum said Tweedledee Had spoiled his nice new rattle.

I scored 6/10, but five were by deduction (I knew that the options I rejected were too correct in normal usage to be correct in that quiz). The one I did get without any thought was "like", one of my pet hates (as in, like, I was, like … ).
Despite my score, I retain my considerable ignorance of popular "culture", and continue to work at maintaining it.
