This lady really ought to be more careful of being covered in graffiti, broken windows, and knee-high grass.

Yes indeed. One doesn’t often come across such an egregious example of the solecism. We were taught about this when I was at school with example, “Driving down the road the street lights cast shadows…“.
Incidentally, I have just checked on the exact meaning of “egregious“ and was surprised to see that it can mean either “outstandingly bad” or “remarkably good”. See here: www.lexico.com/definition/egregious

Thanks, LJH. Neither did I know about that (archaic) meaning of egregious. I've learned something new, so the day wasn't wasted.

This lady really ought to be more careful of being covered in graffiti, broken windows, and knee-high grass. Indeed! As an unrelated point, though, that grass is mere stubble: when I bought my first house and cleared the grass, it was so long that I discovered a previously invisible garden table!
