Too forced, I think, Vv. Particularly as (for me) one word is pronounced with equal stresses as SOO-EZZ while the other is SOO-øzz. (I’m using the ø for a schwa, there.)

That's why I posed it as a question: I thought there might be other takes on it. I can't say I've ever noticed a difference in pronunciation of the two; perhaps that's just an Aussie thing.

While exploring yet another little old town and inspecting shabby shacks to rent in my newly adopted region today, I found this aptronymic butcher shop. I assume it covers both practices of flaying muscle and of stuffing the process's dregs into skins for consumption.
