This forum is an offshoot of the Apostrophe Protection Society (although not officially connected with it) which was set up by John Richards. Many of the people posting here started off there and still post there frequently. The APS has a website at www.apostrophe.org.ukThe APS also has a discussion forum run by John Hale, but John Richards asks that conversation there is kept strictly to the subject of apostrophes only. Another resource that might interest forum members is the APS Forum Reference Site, which contains pictures of some of the regular posters and extracts from some of the old threads on the APS board rescued from oblivion. |

The APS board is at www.apostrophe.org.uk/messagebd.htm" May I point out that the idea of restricting the APS Forum to discussion about the apostrophe only is John R's, not mine. I only administer the APS website and message board and my personal views do not necessarily agree with his, though often they do of course. Also I would appreciate it if you only gave the URL of the main APS website to avoid visitors jumping to the Forum thus avoiding our Home Page site counter. Thanks again, |

OK John, I've amended the message. I intentionally gave the URL of the gateway page rather than the bravenet URL because I thought you once asked us to enter via the gateway page because then you could count the pageviews.
